Have I mentioned lately how much we love our clients? Especially when our clients love their photos so much they give us permission to share their photos. We *love* when our clients ask us to share their images. <3 (more…)
I’ve shot with beautiful Jenny Mel a couple of times over the last year or so after meeting her at a fitness competition in Halifax early in 2018. We’ve also been fortunate enough to have every one of our shoots published somewhere, which is a rarity, to say the least. You can see the results of our very first session here Portfolio Building with Jenny Mel
I was in Moncton for a work trip a while ago and had some free time so I reached out to Jenny and my friend James to assist. We took over a suite at the Crowne Plaza in Downtown Moncton and the plan was set!
The resulting set was published in Boudoir Inspiration magazine and was one of my favorite portfolio sessions in recent memory.
I hope you enjoy the set.
We have been looking for a new space since we left our Bedford studio last winter and we tried no less than 6 local hotels before finding and falling in love with this boutique hotel just outside the city. There were lots of great features and backgrounds for us to take advantage of and we decided to offer a weekend special back in the spring to bring in a few clients and see what we could do with the space.
I guess you could say it’s a safe bet that we loved the spot and plan to use it again and again. 🙂
Enter Ms D. What an awesome energy. She is a fitness competitor and recently won the opportunity to compete for Canada in the IFBB Fit World Championship in Ibiza, Spain. So we expected the session to go well, but I think the whole team was blown away with the results.
We’ve said before how much we love it when our clients allow us to share the photos from their sessions and this set was so awesome that we even had it published in a high end Italian fashion magazine, Faddy, a little while ago. Check out the issue here: Faddy Magazine #7 – The Glamour Issue
At 40+ with 3 children, Ms D was an inspiration to all of our team and to top it off, one of the sweetest people you could ever hope to know.
Hope you enjoy the set.

I originally photographed M for a calendar a couple of years ago and we’ve been trying to find an excuse to shoot again ever since… So during a recent trip to Moncton, we decided to take advantage of a great hotel setting that was available to us.
Most hotels are very “cookie cutter” and don’t make much of a backdrop for a beautiful boudoir experience, but this particular room had great colors, lots of space, well placed mirrors and an absolutely incredible shower which lead to a couple of my favorite images from this session.
