I hope you all had a great holiday season surrounded by family with lots of great food and memories! 🙂
I know we had a great first Christmas with our new grandson at the McCarthy home and we also get to celebrate his first birthday in a this week as well. It’s been years since we had our tree buried in so many gifts and had so much family visit.
Then it’s the rude awakening of back to work for most of us. Except I love my job. I may have said that once or twice in the past… 😉
While I was travelling to Moncton for a short trip a week or so ago, I had the opportunity to shoot with a local aspiring model who has shot with my good friend James Vaughan a couple of times, so the three of us got together for a quick test shoot in a free room at the hotel I was staying at. Sam brought along a couple of outfits to try and even though we only had less than an hour to shoot, we managed to create a couple of pretty cool images and try out some interesting lighting techniques for small spaces at the same time.
This time around I really wanted to create some moody black & white images and found the lighting we had to work with on the early winter evening was pretty great and at the end of the day, I’m pretty happy with the results.
Hope you enjoy them too!
