We met Ms D through a mutual friend some time ago when she reached out about treating herself to a special session for her 50th birthday last year. I cannot stress enough how awesome it is when we get to show our clients just how gorgeous they are from another perspective than their own. We reached out to another mutual friend and make up artist, Stephanie Roberts, since this session was going to take place outside of Halifax – yes, we can travel – and our regular team wouldn’t be able to join us for this session. Stephanie was awesome and kept Ms D entertained until my wife and I arrived to chat about her session and then drive to the hotel to set up.
Since this was out of our regular area, Ms D rented a hotel specifically for her session and it wasn’t long before we were set up and ready to create some wonderful images for her. I love helping coax out the confidence in people and showing them the beauty we get to see through our lens. Ms D works very hard and is up before the sun most days so we felt we needed to find a way to make this birthday gift extra special for her.
We spent nearly 2 hours shooting around the tiny hotel room and ended up with nearly 100 final album worthy images. Ms D was amazing and after only a few minutes felt comfortable and relaxed and really opened up and enjoyed herself. We laughed – mostly at my clumsiness! – and reflected and in the end she was thrilled with her images. So much so that she allowed us to share a few of them here.
Something we don’t normally get asked to do, but she has a 12×12″ calendar hanging on her wall to remind her every day just exactly how special she is, so if you have something special in mind from your session, please don’t hesitate to ask. We are always excited to hear new ways we can help.
Here is just a small sampling of the results from her session. Don’t hesitate to contact us for your own private, no-obligation consultation for your very own boudoir experience.
